| Description | We have an exciting position for an IT engineer who wants to expand their technical knowledge and work in English and Japanese with important multinational clients. This could be a golden opportunity for a Desktop or Helpdesk Engineer who is ready to move to the next level. Your base will be our Meguro-ku office, and you will be traveling to premium office locations in Tokyo and Yokohama to provide consulting and assist our clients with their IT requirements. Foreign companies in Tokyo use Webnet IT as their local IT department. We set up their infrastructure when they move, and we support them once they’re working in their new office. We look after their servers, e-mail, internet access, phone systems, software, security, firewalls, switches, routers and everything else, but most importantly, we look after our client and we focus on providing the best customer service in Tokyo. So, if you have experience in some of these fields, and you are a fast learner, we want to talk with you. We can train your IT Skills, but your attitude and customer service skills are vitally important. We are looking for a person who can do a great job, be proud of their work and can communicate strongly and effectively. Web design and database skills are a plus. | Required Skills | · Positive attitude toward absorbing new skills · Good troubleshooting skills · Windows XP/7 Experience (we dont use Vista) · Basic level of LAN skills · PC hardware and software experience · Microsoft Office · Good writing and speaking proficiency in both Japanese and English · Minimum of 1 year of IT support experience |
