Helpdesk Manager

This is an interview of a Helpdesk Manager whom we helped find a job.

How did you find your job?
Word of mouth by my close friends who received info from Webnet IT.

What kind of job do you have now?
IT Customer Service Contact Center Manager.

How does the new job differ from the old one?
Previously consultant and currently managerial.

In what way did your recruitment consultant help you?
Coordinating the interview process with the employer.

What could they do that would have been difficult for you to do?
Bringing the opportunity. I could not have guessed my current employer was looking for someone.

What was the interview process like?
1st: profile assessment, 2nd: telephone interview 3rd: Face to face interview 4th: Face to face session by superior of line manager.

Who interviewed you and what kind of questions did they ask?
Line manager and his superior.  They asked what I have been doing in the past five years that should be relevant to the position and would make myself suitable for the position.

How were you able to prepare for the interviews?
Coincidentally I was with one of the subsidiaries of the company and knew many people, therefore I just reviewed what I did when I was with the group company. However tried to demonstrate how capable I am to be a managerial level.

What follow up did you have to do after the interviews?
None. I felt very much confident that they would feel I am the best candidate and nobody else can compare to what I would be capable of for the position, therefore I just left the situation evolve itself and waited it to happen.

How long did the whole process take?
About 2 months.

Are you satisfied with the service you received?
Over all yes.
